- Sign the registration permit and send the notification. The seller must complete and sign the back of the registration permit and mail the Notification of Transfer within 7 days.
Buyer steps after the sale
- Transfer the registration within 7 days of the sale.
- Present the signed vehicle permit, bill of sale (receipt), motor vehicle inspection form, and valid insurance card.
- Tax is collected on the Redbook value, bill of sale, or appraisal, whichever is greater.
